Shanghai Ocean University and Tongji University jointly host a meeting for Chinese Government Scholarship preparatory students

9月9日下午，上海海洋大学留学生工作办公室主任朱章华、水产与生命学院副院长孙诤、外国语学院副院长冯延群、海洋生物资源与管理学院海洋渔业与技术系副主任初文华及留办工作人员一行6人，前往同济大学开展了以“携手共育未来”为主题的联合培养中国政府奖学金预科生见面会。此次见面会旨在加强两校之间的合作，共同推进中国政府奖学金预科生的培养工作。

On the afternoon of September 9, Zhu Zhanghua (Director of the International Student Office of Shanghai Ocean University), Sun Zheng (Vice Dean of the College of Fisheries and Life Sciences), Feng Yanqun (Vice Dean of the College of Foreign Languages), Chu Wenhua (Vice Director of the Department of Marine Fisheries and Technology in the College of Marine Living Resource Sciences and Management), and six staff members of the International Student Office visited Tongji University to conduct a meeting for Chinese Government Scholarship preparatory students with the theme Working Together to Educate the Future. The purpose of this meeting is to strengthen the cooperation between the two universities and jointly promote the cultivation for Chinese Government Scholarship preparatory students.

会议首先由留办主任朱章华和同济大学国际文化交流学院院长孙宜学分别介绍了各自学校在留学生教育方面的优势和经验。随后，双方就预科生培养方案进行了深入交流，共同探讨了如何更好地为预科生提供高质量的教育服务。

The meeting began with introductions from Zhu Zhanghua (Director of the International Student Office of Shanghai Ocean University) and Sun Yixue (Dean of the International School of Tongji University), where they shared the respective advantages and experiences of their universities in international student education. Subsequently, both parties engaged in in-depth discussions on the preparatory student education program, exploring ways to better provide high-quality educational services for preparatory students.

在接下来的师生见面环节中，双方教师代表与27名来自厄瓜多尔、柬埔寨、越南、喀麦隆的国际学生亲切互动，互赠礼物。国际学生们纷纷表达了自己对未来在华留学和生活的憧憬，现场交流气氛热烈。

During the following teacher-student interaction session, representatives from both universities engaged warmly with 27 international students from Ecuador, Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand and Cameroon. They exchanged gifts and shared their aspirations for studying and living in China in the future. The international students expressed their excitement and hopes for their future experiences, creating a lively and enthusiastic atmosphere during the exchange.

此次见面会不仅增进了两校之间的了解，也为预科生们提供了一个了解未来学习和生活环境的宝贵机会。双方表示，将继续深化合作，共同为培养更多优秀的国际人才而努力。
