Chinese and International Students Visit Lingang

为了促进中外学生对临港新片区的深入了解，促进学生之间文化交流，外国语学院精心策划了“中外学生看临港”主题活动。11月19日由外国语学院留学服务中心牵头，组织了中外学生30余名，开启了对临港新片区的探索之旅。

In order to facilitate a deeper understanding of Lingang New Area among Chinese and international students, and promote cultural exchanges between students, the College of Foreign Languages planned the themed activity Chinese and International Students Explore Lingang. On November 19th, led by the International Student Service Center of the College, over 30 Chinese and international students embarked on an exploration journey to Lingang New Area.

活动当天，中外学生们首先前往顶尖科学家永久会址进行参观。作为临港新片区的重要地标，顶尖科学家永久会址不仅承载着科技创新的历史使命，更展示了中国在科技领域的辉煌成就。中外学生在外围和主要会场进行参观，近距离感受科学家的风采和科研氛围。

On the day of the event, Chinese and foreign students first visited the Permanent Venue of Top Scientists for a tour. As an important landmark in the Lingang New Area, the Permanent Venue of Top Scientists not only bears the historical mission of scientific innovation but also showcases China's brilliant achievements in the field of science and technology. Chinese and foreign students visited the outskirts and main venue, getting a close look at the demeanor of scientists and the research atmosphere. 

随后，中外学生们前往滴水湖云厅进行展厅参观。滴水湖作为临港新片区的标志性景观之一，其优美的自然风光和现代化的城市风貌吸引了无数游客的目光。而滴水湖云厅则以其独特的建筑设计和丰富的展览内容，成为了展示临港新片区发展历程和未来愿景的重要窗口。中外学生们将在这里深入了解临港的历史变迁、经济发展和文化特色，进一步加深对中国的认识和理解。

Next, the Chinese and foreign students went to the Dishui Lake Cloud Hall for an exhibition tour. Dishui Lake, as one of the iconic landscapes of the Lingang New Area, attracts countless visitors with its beautiful natural scenery and modern urban landscape. The Dishui Lake Cloud Hall, with its unique architectural design and rich exhibition contents, has become an important window to showcase the development process and future vision of the Lingang New Area. Here, Chinese and foreign students will deepen their understanding of the historical changes, economic development, and cultural characteristics of Lingang, further enhancing their knowledge and understanding of China.

此外，在耀雪冰雪世界支持和赞助下，中外学生在上海还体验了真实的冰雪世界。作为临港重要旅游项目，耀雪冰雪世界设施先进、活动多样，中外学生尽情享受冰雪运动乐趣，领略中国现代化的建筑工艺和大型冰雪文化魅力。

In addition, with the support and sponsorship of the Yao Xue Ice and Snow World, Chinese and foreign students also experienced a real ice and snow world in Shanghai. As an important tourism project in Lingang, the Yao Xue Ice and Snow World boasts advanced facilities and diverse activities, allowing Chinese and foreign students to enjoy the fun of ice and snow sports, and appreciate the modern architectural craftsmanship and the charm of large-scale ice and snow culture in China.

此次“中外学生看临港”活动不仅为中外学生们提供了一个深入了解临港新片区和中国文化的平台，也为他们提供了一个展示自我、增进友谊的机会。外国语学院留学服务中心将继续努力为国际学生提供更多元化的文化交流活动，助力他们更好地融入中国社会，成为中外友谊的桥梁和纽带。

The Chinese and Foreign Students Explore Lingang event not only provided Chinese and foreign students with a platform to deepen their understanding of the Lingang New Area and Chinese culture but also offered them an opportunity to showcase themselves and strengthen friendships. The International Student Service Center of the College of Foreign Languages will continue to work hard to provide international students with more diverse cultural exchange activities, helping them better integrate into Chinese society and become bridges and bonds of friendship between China and the world.
