Intl Students Support the Third Cultural Exchange Event

2025年10月17日晚，以“弦歌不辍 智汇临港”为主题的南汇新城镇第三届中外友人文化交流活动圆满举行。来自上海海洋大学的9名汤加籍国际学生带着充满太平洋岛国风情的传统舞蹈登台亮相，以热情洋溢的表演为这场汇聚34国友人的文化盛会注入了独特的汤加文化与青春活力。

On the evening of October 17, 2025, the Third Cultural Exchange Event for Friends from China and Abroad in Nanhui New Town, themed “Songs Never Cease, Wisdom Converges in Lingang,” concluded successfully. Nine Tongan international students from SHOU took the stage with traditional dances brimming with the spirit of the Pacific Islands. Their passionate performance infused this cultural gathering of friends from 34 countries with the unique charm of Tongan culture and youthful vitality.

本次活动吸引了来自世界各地的134位外国友人与百余位社会各界人士共同参与。作为临港新片区重要的中外文化交流平台，通过美食体验、互动游戏和文艺展演等多种形式，为不同文化背景的参与者搭建起心灵对话的桥梁。上海海洋大学汤加学子带来的传统舞蹈更是成为全场焦点。他们用有力的舞步、激昂的节奏和极具感染力的表演，完美展现了汤加文化的独特魅力，赢得了现场观众的阵阵掌声。

This event drew 134 international participants from around the world alongside over a hundred representatives from various sectors of society. As a vital platform for Sino-foreign cultural exchange in the Lingang New Area, it fostered heartfelt connections among participants from diverse cultural backgrounds through culinary experiences, interactive games, and artistic performances. The traditional dance performed by Tongan students from SHOU became the highlight of the event. With powerful dance steps, energetic rhythms, and a highly infectious performance, they perfectly showcased the unique charm of Tongan culture, earning thunderous applause from the audience.
