“2025中国上海教育展”在巴林和阿联酋成功举办 The 2025 China Shanghai Education Expo Successfully Held in Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates

为加大海外推广力度，整体推介上海教育和“留学上海”品牌，近日“2025中国上海教育展”在巴林和阿联酋成功举办。教育展由上海市教委主办，复旦大学、上海交通大学、同济大学等24所高校参展。中国驻巴林大使倪汝池、中国驻阿联酋使馆公使赵亮、上海市教卫工作党委副书记、“2025中国上海教育展”团长顾红亮出席相关活动。

To enhance overseas promotion efforts and comprehensively showcase Shanghai's education system and the “Study in Shanghai” brand, the “2025 China Shanghai Education Expo” was recently successfully held in Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates. Organized by the Shanghai Municipal Education Commission, the Expo featured participation from 24 universities including Fudan University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and Tongji University. Attendees included Ni Ruchi, Chinese Ambassador to Bahrain; Zhao Liang, Minister-Counselor of the Chinese Embassy in the UAE; and Gu Hongliang, Deputy Secretary of the Shanghai Municipal Education Commission Party Committee and head of the “2025 China Shanghai Education Expo” delegation.

10月16日，“2025中国上海教育展暨上海–巴林教育国际交流与合作推介会”在巴林会议中心举行。来自巴林教育部、高等教育委员会、巴林13所大学和4所国际学校的80余位代表及上海高校参展人员共140余人参加交流推介会。

On 16 October, the ‘2025 China Shanghai Education Exhibition and Shanghai–Bahrain International Forum on Educational Exchange and Cooperation Promotion Conference’ was held at the Bahrain Convention Centre. Over 140 participants attended the exchange and promotion event, including more than 80 representatives from Bahrain's Ministry of Education, the Higher Education Council, 13 Bahraini universities, and four international schools, alongside exhibitors from Shanghai higher education institutions.

上海市教委国际交流处作上海教育整体推介，巴林教育部文化与学术事务部门介绍中巴教育合作情况。华东理工大学、上海财经大学、上海大学、巴林皇家外科医学院（RCSI）、巴林科技大学作了院校推介。在高校对话交流环节，双方院校围绕创新人才培养的使命与目标，寻求未来在医学、工程、能源、人工智能等领域的合作契合点，并就推动特色专业的国际学生互派与学术交流提出进一步深化务实合作的设想。在一对一洽谈环节，中巴院校深入探讨合作机会。

The International Exchange Division of the Shanghai Municipal Education Commission delivered an overview of Shanghai's education system, while Bahrain's Ministry of Education, Culture and Academic Affairs presented on Sino-Bahraini educational cooperation. Institutions including East China University of Science and Technology, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, Shanghai University, the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI), and Bahrain University of Science and Technology conducted institutional presentations. During the university dialogue session, institutions from both sides explored shared missions and objectives in cultivating innovative talent, seeking future collaboration opportunities in medicine, engineering, energy, artificial intelligence and related fields. They proposed further practical cooperation to advance international student exchanges and academic collaboration in specialised disciplines. In one-to-one discussions, Chinese and Bahraini institutions engaged in in-depth exploration of potential partnerships.

10月19日-21日，“2025Najah国际教育展”在阿联酋ADNEC会展中心举行，此展会为阿联酋每年规模最大、最有影响力的国际教育展，今年有来自美国、加拿大、日本、马来西亚等20余个国家和地区的150余个参展单位参展，“2025中国上海教育展”以“展中展”方式参展。为期3天的展会吸引了3万余名参观者，上海教育展位人流络绎不绝。

From 19th to 21st October, the 2025 Najah International Education Expo took place at the ADNEC Exhibition Centre in the United Arab Emirates. This exhibition stands as the UAE's largest and most influential annual international education exhibition. This year over 150 exhibitors representing more than 20 countries and regions, including the United States, Canada, Japan, and Malaysia. The ‘2025 China Shanghai Education Expo’ participated as a ‘Expo-within-an-expo’. The three-day event attracted over 30,000 visitors, with the Shanghai Education booth experiencing a constant flow of attendees.

上海教育展团还深入巴林和阿联酋高校开展推介和交流，参访了巴林大学和纽约大学阿布扎比校区，得到阿联酋总统府奖学金办公室（SCO）的热情接待，双方就扩大学生交流、建立校际合作、开展合作办学进行了坦诚和深入的交流。

The Shanghai Education Delegation also conducted promotional activities and exchanges at universities in Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates, visiting the University of Bahrain and New York University Abu Dhabi. They also received a warm reception from the Scholarship Office of the Presidential Court (SCO) in the UAE. Both parties engaged in candid and in-depth discussions regarding expanding student exchanges, establishing inter-institutional cooperation, and developing collaborative educational programmes.

据介绍，巴林和阿联酋是上海教育“走出去”的重要一步，也标志着中外教育合作迈入新阶段。上海将继续坚持教育对外开放合作，以教育为桥梁，深化与巴林、阿联酋教育界的伙伴关系，在学术科研、师资培训和青年交流等领域共同拓展新空间，推动“一带一路”教育高质量发展、高水平开放。

It is reported that Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates represent a significant step in Shanghai's educational outreach, marking a new phase in Sino-foreign educational cooperation. Shanghai will continue to uphold its commitment to opening up and collaborating in education, using education as a bridge to deepen partnerships with the educational communities of Bahrain and the UAE. Together, they will explore new avenues in academic research, teacher training, and youth exchanges, thereby advancing the high-quality development and high-level opening-up of education along the Belt and Road.
