2026 Shanghai Summer School-Sustainable Aquaculture Program


The Shanghai Summer School (3S) is a window to international cooperation and exchange in education established by the Shanghai Municipality since 2008. 

In 2026, Shanghai Ocean University (SHOU), one of the best in the world on fisheries and aquaculture, will be hosting a project under the Shanghai Summer School (3S) program, with the theme “Sustainable Aquaculture Program.  This initiative, organized by the College of Fisheries and Life Sciences (CFLS), aims to foster international cooperation and knowledge exchange through lectures, field visits, debates, and hands-on training in fisheries and aquaculture.

 

Currently applications are open. Here are some key details:

 

Theme: Sustainable Aquaculture Program

Program Period: 14th June to 2nd July 2026

Program Features: Lectures, field visits, discussions, and practical training in fisheries and aquaculture.

Costs Covered: Accommodation, medical insurance, course materials and on-campus meals. Participants are responsible for their travel and visa application fees.

Application Deadline: 4 April, 2026
