Our Microbiology branch has entered top 1% in ESI

Clarivate Analytics has published the latest statistical data of the Essential Science Indicators database. Of which Shanghai Ocean University has scored a top 1% among all others.

日前，科睿唯安（Clarivate Analytics）发布最新一期（2026年3月）基本科学指标数据库（ESI）统计数据。上海海洋大学“微生物学”学科进入ESI全球排名前1%。 

At this point, the figure of total majors that lives in top 1% has increased to 9, which consists of Botany and Zoology, Ecology, Agricultural Science, Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, plusEarth and Material Science. This presents a new level of our development in discipline and empowers our global influence in researching continuously.  

至此，上海海洋大学进入ESI全球排名前1%的学科总数增至9个，分别为：植物与动物学、环境/生态学、农业科学、工程学、化学、生物学与生物化学、地球科学、材料科学、微生物学，学科建设再上新水平，国际学术影响力持续提升。
