基于生态系统的远洋渔业资源声学调查最佳实践国际研讨会 在沪成功召开 International Workshop on Best Practices for Ecosystem-Based Acoustic Surveys of Pelagic Fisheries Successfully Held in Shanghai

2026年4月6日至10日，基于生态系统的远洋渔业资源声学调查最佳实践国际研讨会在上海海洋大学召开。会议由上海海洋大学承办，来自美国、加拿大、新西兰、澳大利亚等国的渔业声学专家与中方团队开展深入交流。

From April 6 to 10, 2026, the International Workshop on Best Practices for Ecosystem-Based Acoustic Surveys of Pelagic Fisheries Resources was successfully held at Shanghai Ocean University. The workshop was hosted by the university and brought together fisheries acoustics experts from the United States, Canada, New Zealand, Australia, and China for in-depth exchanges.

上海海洋大学江敏副校长、华盛顿大学John Horne教授出席开幕式并致辞。江敏指出，自2021年起，上海海洋大学牵头承担我国全球渔业资源调查监测评估专项（公海渔业资源综合科学调查），在西北太平洋及中西太平洋持续开展声学调查，积累了丰富数据与经验；学校的合作单位中国水产科学研究院黄海水产研究所、中国水产科学研究院东海水产研究所也已在印度洋开展相关调查，拓展了中上层渔业资源调查的范围与深度。她强调，中国高度重视海洋领域的国际合作与可持续发展，积极支持科研与学术交流，希望各方畅所欲言，共同推动渔业声学调查方法的规范化与数据共享。John Horne表示，本次研讨会也是两校合作备忘录框架下的重要活动，多方经验将助力全球中上层渔业可持续发展。上海海洋大学海洋生物资源与管理学院田思泉院长、刘必林研究员、童剑锋副教授等共同出席。

At the opening ceremony, Vice President Jiang Min of Shanghai Ocean University and Professor John Horne from the University of Washington delivered remarks. Jiang noted that since 2021, the university has led China’s global fisheries resource survey and monitoring program, conducting sustained acoustic surveys in the Northwest and Western Central Pacific, accumulating extensive data and experience. Partner institutions, including the Yellow Sea Fisheries Research Institute and East China Sea Fisheries Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Fishery Sciences, have also conducted surveys in the Indian Ocean, expanding both the scope and depth of pelagic fisheries investigations.She emphasized China’s strong commitment to international cooperation and sustainable development in marine science, encouraging open dialogue and collaboration to promote standardization and data sharing in fisheries acoustic surveys. Professor Horne highlighted that the workshop is an important activity under the cooperation framework between the two universities, with shared expertise contributing to the sustainable development of global pelagic fisheries. Dean Tian Siquan of the College of Marine Living Resource Sciences and Management at Shanghai Ocean University, along with Researcher Liu Bilin and Associate Professor Tong Jianfeng, among others, attended the event.

会议期间，国际专家聚焦调查设计、数据获取与处理分析、不确定性传播、数据产品应用等核心议题，分享前沿技术与实践经验；国内专家系统展示了我国在西北太平洋、南海海域的声学调查创新成果与应用案例。中外专家围绕调查设计、校准规范、生物学采样等环节开展对比交流，经集体研讨，形成全球远洋渔业声学调查重点突破方向清单。

During the workshop, international experts focused on core topics such as survey design, data acquisition and processing, uncertainty propagation, and application of data products, sharing cutting-edge technologies and practical experiences. Chinese experts systematically presented innovative achievements and application cases from acoustic surveys conducted in the Northwest Pacific and South China Sea. Through comparative discussions on survey design, calibration standards, and biological sampling, participants jointly identified priority areas for future breakthroughs in global pelagic fisheries acoustic surveys.

会议组织了声学设备校准现场演示与LSSS数据处理软件实操培训。与会代表还实地参观了“淞航”号科考船，深入了解我国渔业综合调查能力。随后，各方围绕数据共享机制、国际标准制定、国际交流合作等议题开展圆桌讨论，形成行动计划。

The workshop included live demonstrations of acoustic equipment calibration and hands-on training in LSSS data processing software. Participants also visited the research vessel “Songhang” to gain firsthand insight into China’s comprehensive fisheries survey capabilities. Subsequently, roundtable discussions were held on data-sharing mechanisms, international standard development, and global cooperation, culminating in an action plan.

会议形成的重点突破方向清单与行动计划，为全球声学调查方法规范化、数据共享机制建设及国际交流合作推进提供了有力支撑。本次研讨会的成功举办，标志着我国在远洋渔业声学调查领域从参与国际规则向共同制定全球最佳实践标准迈出重要一步。

The identified priority areas and action plan provide strong support for standardizing acoustic survey methodologies, improving data-sharing mechanisms, and promoting international collaboration. The successful convening of the workshop marks a significant step forward for China—from participating in international rule-making to actively contributing to the development of global best practice standards in pelagic fisheries acoustic surveys.
