2026年上海暑期学校“海洋可持续发展项目”开幕 Opening of the 2026 Shanghai Summer School: Marine Sustainable Development Program

5月29日，由上海市教育委员会主办，上海海洋大学承办的2026年上海暑期学校“海洋可持续发展项目”在我校海洋科技大楼109会议室开幕。上海海洋大学副校长江敏，党政办、党委宣传部、发展规划与学科建设处、教务处、学生处、研究生院、国际交流处、留学生工作办公室、后勤与基建管理处等职能部门和外国语学院教师代表，来自14个国家的31位国际营员与我校学生志愿者参加开幕式。

On May 29, the opening ceremony of the 2026 Shanghai Summer School – Marine Sustainable Development Program, sponsored by the Shanghai Municipal Education Commission and undertaken by Shanghai Ocean University, was held in Conference Room 109 of the Marine Science and Technology Building on campus. JIANG Min, Vice President of Shanghai Ocean University, attended the event. Also present were representatives from functional departments including the Party and Administration Office, Publicity Department of the University Party Committee, Office of Development Planning and Discipline Development, Academic Affairs Office, Student Affairs Office, Graduate School, International Exchange Office, International Student Office and Logistics and Infrastructure Management Office, as well as faculty representatives from the College of Foreign Languages. A total of 31 international participants from 14 countries and student volunteers of the university took part in the opening ceremony.

开幕式上，江敏致欢迎辞，对远道而来的国际师生与各位来宾表示热烈欢迎。她介绍，本次项目聚焦海洋可持续发展，构建学术研讨、文化沉浸、实践调研三位一体学习体系，汇聚14个国家青年学子，融合专家讲座、非遗体验、家庭沉浸式体验与沪杭实地调研，助力中外青年交流互鉴，共同为全球海洋可持续发展和海洋保护贡献力量。

At the opening ceremony, JIANG Min delivered a welcome speech and extended a warm welcome to the visiting international teachers, students and all guests. She stated that this program focuses on marine sustainable development and has built a three-in-one learning system featuring academic seminars, cultural immersion and practical field research. Bringing together young students from 14 countries, the program integrates expert lectures, intangible cultural heritage experiences, immersive homestay experiences and field investigations in Shanghai and Hangzhou. It aims to facilitate exchanges and mutual learning between Chinese and foreign youth, and jointly contribute to global marine sustainable development and marine conservation. 

会上，党委常委、宣传部部长陈江华为营员授营旗。学校相关职能部门负责人为中外学员及志愿者赠送营服、颁发工作牌。外国语学院与留学生工作办公室相关负责人分别介绍了上海暑期学校海洋可持续发展项目概况、安全注意事项及招生政策。仪式结束后，全体人员合影留念，并参观了学校“双一流” 学科成果展。

During the ceremony, CHEN Jianghua, Member of the Standing Committee of the University Party Committee and Director of the Publicity Department, presented the camp flag to participants. Heads of relevant functional departments of the university presented camp uniforms and issued name badges to Chinese and foreign participants as well as volunteers. Representatives from the College of Foreign Languages and the International Student Office respectively introduced the overview of the Marine Sustainable Development Program under the Shanghai Summer School, safety guidelines and admission policies. After the ceremony, all attendees took a group photo and visited the exhibition of achievements of the university's Double First-Classdisciplines.

  上海市教委重点打造的“上海暑期学校（Shanghai Summer School，简称3S项目）”，始创于2008年，是上海教育对外开放的知名品牌与交流窗口。项目面向全球优秀外籍青年，搭建跨语言、跨文化交流平台，引导海外学子走进上海、感知中国。我校已连续六届承办3S项目。伴随发展，项目定位不断优化升级，由传统的汉语学习、文化体验为主，转向依托高校优势学科开展专业化交流，着力提升上海教育国际影响力，推动中外高等教育深度互鉴。

Shanghai Summer School (referred to as the 3S Program), a flagship initiative of the Shanghai Municipal Education Commission, was launched in 2008 and has since become a renowned brand and exchange window for Shanghai's education opening-up. The program targets outstanding international youth from around the globe, building a cross-linguistic and cross-cultural platform that invites overseas students to explore Shanghai and experience China firsthand.Our university has hosted the 3S Program for six consecutive editions. As the program evolves, its positioning has been continuously optimized and upgraded: shifting from a traditional focus on Chinese language learning and cultural experience to specialized exchanges leveraging universities’ strong disciplines. This transformation aims to enhance the international influence of Shanghai’s education and promote in-depth mutual learning between Chinese and foreign higher education.
