近日，澳大利亚澳中友好协会北领地分会组织的青少年研学交流团抵达上海，开启为期7天的“汉语桥”夏令营研学之旅。该团由来自澳大利亚达尔文和堪培拉两地的26名青少年及3名领队组成，上海海洋大学为其安排了丰富的文化讲座、文化体验与外出参访活动，旨在增进中澳青年之间的相互理解与友谊，进一步推动两国人文交流与教育合作。 Recently, a youth study tour delegation organized by the Australia-China Friendship Society NT Branch arrived in Shanghai, marking the start of a seven-day Chinese Bridge summer camp study tour. The delegation consists of 26 young people and 3 team leaders from Darwin and Canberra, Australia. Shanghai Ocean University has arranged a rich program of cultural lectures, hands-on cultural experiences, and off-campus visits for the group. The camp aims to enhance mutual understanding and friendship between Chinese and Australian youth, and to further promote people-to-people exchanges and educational cooperation between the two countries.

YU Yuan extended a warm welcome to the delegation and briefly introduced the university's educational characteristics, its international development strategy, and its achievements in external exchanges. He encouraged all participants to cherish this exchange opportunity, immerse themselves in Chinese campus culture and Shanghai's regional culture, engage in intellectual exchange, gain personal growth through learning, and promote friendly ties between Chinese and international youth. 研学团领队代表孙惠英老师对学校的精心筹备与热情接待表示衷心感谢，并简要介绍了本次研学的学习目标与行程安排，期待通过此次交流，深入了解中国教育模式、海洋学科特色与本土文化，增进中澳青年间的相互了解与深厚友谊。 Ms. SUN Huiying, the lead representative of the delegation, expressed heartfelt gratitude to the university for its meticulous preparation and warm hospitality. She briefly outlined the study objectives and itinerary of the tour, expressing her expectation that through this exchange, participants would gain an in-depth understanding of China's educational model, the distinctive features of marine disciplines, and local culture, while deepening mutual understanding and fostering strong friendships between Chinese and Australian youth.

The Chinese Bridge inbound programs for foreign students are Chinese language and cultural learning experience programs organized for secondary and university students from various countries. They aim to enhance participants' understanding and experience of the Chinese language and culture, promote friendly exchanges between Chinese and foreign students, and ignite their enthusiasm for learning Chinese.

The visit of this study tour group to our university is not only an important step in advancing the university's internationalization strategy and deepening people-to-people and cultural exchanges with other countries, but also provides a high-quality platform for mutual learning between Chinese and Australian youth. Throughout the program, the two sides will continue to carry out a variety of learning and exchange activities, helping students from both countries broaden their international perspectives, enhance cultural appreciation, and further energize educational and cultural exchanges between China and Australia.
