Shanghai Ocean University Celebrates the 2025 Chinese Farmers’ Harvest Festival.

9月23日上午，上海海洋大学以“‌庆水上丰收 谱蓝色答卷‌”为主题，共同庆祝2025年中国农民丰收节，同时举办上海海洋大学渔业科技创新与育人实践主题活动。200余名师生参加活动。上海海洋大学党委常委、宣传部部长陈江华主持。

On the morning of September 23, Shanghai Ocean University, under the theme “Celebrating the Aquatic Harvest, Writing a Blue Report,” jointly celebrated the 2025 Chinese Farmers’ Harvest Festival. At the same time, the university held its Fisheries Technology Innovation and Educational Practice themed event. More than 200 teachers and students participated in the event. Chen Jianghua, a member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Director of the Publicity Department of Shanghai Ocean University, presided over the event.

10点许，上海海洋大学党委书记王宏舟宣布开捕。顿时，明湖湖畔热闹非凡。师生们合力拉起渔网，鲢鱼、鳙鱼、青鱼在网内跳跃，丰收场景尽收眼底。

Around 10 a.m, Wang Hongzhou, Secretary of the Party Committee of Shanghai Ocean University, announced the start of the fishing. Immediately, the shores of Ming Lake became bustling with excitement. Teachers and students worked together to pull up the fishing net, where silver carp, bighead carp, and black carp could be seen jumping inside. The bountiful harvest scene unfolded before everyone’s eyes.

在活动环节，上海海洋大学原党委副书记、副校长宋敏娟为柬埔寨留学生赠阅柬埔寨语的《稻渔种养技术手册》，勉励他们学习本领，把更优秀的稻渔种养技术带回去。

During the event, Song Minjuan, former Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and former Vice President of Shanghai Ocean University, presented a Cambodian-language version of the “Rice-Fish Farming Technical Manual” to Cambodian international students. She encouraged them to master their skills and bring back more advanced rice-fish farming techniques to their home country.

元鼎卓越农林创新班、农业经营管理硕士班负责人孙诤、晋洪涛分别作了分享。中印尼海洋牧场项目负责人、高级工程师林东明，中柬稻渔综合种养项目代表、教师张冬冬作了渔业科技创新专题汇报。水产与生命学院张玮副教授在直播里科普了校园水域生态治理。

Sun Zheng, head of the Yuanding Excellence Class in Agriculture and Forestry Innovation, and Jin Hongtao, head of the Master’s Program in Agricultural Business Management, delivered their respective presentations. Lin Dongming, senior engineer and head of the China-Indonesia Marine Ranching Project, and Zhang Dongdong, representative of the China-Cambodia Rice-Fish Integrated Farming Project, gave special reports on fishery science and technology innovation. Associate Professor Zhang Wei from the College of Fisheries and Life Science gave a live-streamed popular science presentation on the ecological management of campus waters.
